Over 50 Waxwings were in trees between Burniston Gardens and Scalby Road, Burniston this morning before fragmenting into smaller flocks north and south. A Great Northern Diver accompanies a Red Throated Diver in the inner harbour. A Short-eared Owl was in a field west of Jackson's Bay. Over 1,000 Pink-footed Geese, five White-fronted Geese, 100 Greylag Geese (including two leucistic individuals) and a Bar-headed Goose and Ruddy Shelduck of unknown origin, were in a field off the A64 west of Stockdales. A Little Egret on the River Derwent at East Ayton this afternoon.
