A Red-throated Diver and Kingfisher at the inner harbour this morning. Two Kingfishers at the Open Air Theatre. Nine Goldeneye, one Pochard, two Great Crested Grebes and five Little Grebes at North Yorkshire Water Park. At Potter Brompton Carr, viewed from Haybridge, there were one Dunlin, 120 Lapwing, four Little Egret, a cream crown Marsh Harrier and seven Whooper Swans (3 adults, 4juveniles). A mobile mixed flock at Nettledale Lane, Snainton, contained approximately 50 Fieldfare, 30 Redwing, 30 Starling, five Brambling, five Chaffinch and 10 House Sparrow. 134 Curlew were at Gristhorpe Bay. Approximately 20 Waxwings were back at Newlands late afternoon.
