Friday 3rd November

 Up to 26 Waxwings at Newlands Park Drive, and 8 at Barry's Lane, Falsgrave. Nine Little Grebes, 2 Goldeneye, Goosander, and a Water Rail at Seamer Road Mere. 78 Gadwall at Seamer tip pool, a large count for that site! A Little Auk flew north past Long Nab, plus a Corn Bunting at the cover crop. A cc Marsh Harrier flew south at Gristhorpe. The Great Crested Grebe was still in the harbour. At floods around Low Marishes were 1440 Lapwing, 38 Golden Plovers, 13 Dunlin, 960 Black-headed Gulls, 525 Herring Gulls, and 600 Starlings. Nine Goldeneye, Water Rail at North Yorkshire Water Park (East Lake).
