Migration watch; 07.15 – 11.20hrs.
On the move (north unless stated) were 2 Red-throated Diver, 51 Fulmar + 29 south including 1 ‘blue’ Fulmar north, 1 Manx Shearwater (first of the year), 16 Gannet + 27 south, 2 Cormorant, 1 Shag, 5 Teal south, 5 Common Scoter south, 1 Woodcock in off, 2 Black-headed Gull south, 17 Common Gull + 35 south, 3 Lesser Black-backed Gull + 3 south, 3 Great Black-backed Gull + 30 south, 5 Kittiwake + 1 south and 1 Auk sp.
Migrants in the Long Nab area included a Blackcap, 3 Chiffchaff, a Fieldfare, 19 Goldcrest and a Treecreeper.
Elsewhere 2 Jack Snipe and 7 Snipe were along Taylor Way, 4 Gadwall were on Seamer Tip Pool and 2 Black-necked Grebe were in the Harbour as were 78 Turnstone.
