Migration watch; 07.00 – 09.40hrs.
On the move (north unless stated) were 1 Red-throated Diver + 4 south, 13 Fulmar + 1 south, 91 Gannet + 9 south, 10 Greylag Goose, 2 Shelduck, 3 Common Scoter south, 1 Curlew, 4 Black-headed Gull, 4 Common Gull + 8 south, 121 Herring Gull + 18 south, 9 Great Black-backed Gull + 5 south, 2 Kittiwake + 5 south and 26 Auk sp + 5 south.
Elsewhere an adult Kittiwake was at Wykeham South Lake along with 5 Shoveler, 3 Goldeneye, a Barnacle Goose and 2 Pink-footed Geese. A Brambling was in Hutton Buscel, the Great Grey Shrike was seen in Langdale Forest as were 30 Brambling, 38 Wigeon and 14 Teal were on Johnson’s Marsh, a Black-necked Grebe was in the Harbour and the American Wigeon remained at Scalby Mills.
