A couple of quiet days, the 1st produced the American Wigeon at Scalby Mills where a Great Crested Grebe was
also seen.

The American Wigeon was also seen on the 2nd.
Elsewhere single Lapland and Snow Buntings were at Long Nab, 51 Wigeon, 13 Teal and 3 Tufted Duck were on Johnson’s Marsh, 670 Black-headed Gull, 750 Common Gull a Shoveler and 4 Goldeneye were on Wykeham South Lake and 126 Golden Plover, 4 Dunlin, 11 Snipe and an Oystercatcher were on Potter Brompton Carr (no general access).
On the move (south unless stated) were 2 Red-throated Diver, 5 Fulmar + 3 north, 42 Gannet + 6 north, 3 Common Scoter, 5 Lapwing, 9 Black-headed Gull, 7 Common Gull + 2 north, 88 Herring Gull + 36 north, 12 Great Black-backed Gull + 3 north, 4 Kittiwake + 2 north, 1 Guillemot + 1 north, 2 Razorbill and 1 Skylark north.
