A Little Egret flew north over Cayton this morning towards Cayton Bay, where there were 2 Peregrines and 6 Stonechats, plus small flocks of Starlings which flew in off the sea. 3 Velvet Scoter and 2 Eider flew north, and a Pintail flew south, past an otherwise rather quiet Long Nab. About 100 Wigeon were at Scalby Mills, and at the harbour there was a female Eider, a Guillemot, a Turnstone and a Cormorant.
