Wednesday 14th October

A Yellow-browed Warbler, a Raven, a Chiffchaff, 2 Stonechats and 20 Skylarks were seen at Cloughton Wyke this morning, while in the afternoon the Yellow-browed Warbler was still there together with 3 Bramblings, 2 Blackcaps and 3 Goldcrests. A Siberian Chiffchaff was spotted near the entrance to the kennels at Crook Ness, and a Richard's Pipit flew north over the cover crop field at Long Nab. The first 2 Woodcocks of the season arrived in off the sea at South Cliff, and another Yellow-browed Warbler was in Peasholm Park by the island.
