A Dusky Warbler was in Cornelian Ravine this morning, where it was calling often and loosely associating with 2 Blackcaps. 5 Barnacle Geese remain on Wykeham East Lake, and 3 Whooper Swans on the new workings lake. Things were generally quiet at Long Nab with the main birds of interest being a first winter Caspian Gull and a first winter Mediterranean Gull, both passing southwards. 2 Blackcaps, 3 Chiffchaffs, 6 Fieldfares and 6 Redwings were seen along South Cliff in the morning, and 6 Redwings were also seen at Cloughton in the afternoon.
