2 Tundra Bean Geese flew north past Long Nab this morning, a Great Northern Diver flew south, and a Jack Snipe was present in the stubble field. A Long-tailed Duck was in the bay at Cloughton Wyke, and at Scalby Mills a Common Scoter flew into North Bay and a Dipper was down the beck. A Merlin flew south over the A170 at Ebberston, and another flew inland over Filey Road in the Cornelian Bay area. A Red-necked Grebe was found in the harbour late in the morning and remained there into the early afternoon. An adult Mediterranean Gull and a Kingfisher were both seen at Scalby Mills this afternoon.
