Saturday 21st May
A Hobby spent approximately 30 minutes on Marine Drive much to the consternation of the local Peregrine Falcons. An Osprey flew east over Crossgates at 0840hrs. A pair of Honey Buzzards was again seen at Wykeham Raptor Viewpoint this morning and a male Northern Goshawk, single Raven and Jay, eight Common Crossbills and four Common Buzzards were seen there during the afternoon. Two Ravens and a Northern Wheatear were seen at Sneaton Low Moor. Two Spotted Flycatchers were seen on the Fylingdales side of Ellerbeck this morning. Singing Corn Bunting Redcliffe Farm.
