Two southbound Arctic Skuas passed close at Long Nab before circling over Jackson's Bay and heading west inland. Also north past Long Nab this morning were 76 Manx Shearwaters, 395 Fulmars, seven Sanderling, 42 Puffin and a Tufted Duck. A pair of Shelduck with eight ducklings were below the Observatory. Single Spotted Flycatcher, Dipper, Grey Wagtail were in the Troutsdale bridge area along with a sprinkling of common Warbler species. Ay Wykeham Forest this evening there were four Nightjars, approximately 30 Woodcock passes, Turtle Dove and Tawny Owl. A Nightjar, two roding Woodcocks and young Tawny Owls were recorded at Sand Dale, Dalby. Two pairs of Corn Buntings (two singing) Redcliffe Farm.
