Friday 13th May
A cream crowned Marsh Harrier flew north along the cliffs at Long Nab at 0913hrs and a second cream crowned Marsh Harrier passed through North Cliff at 1025hrs. A Little Egret went south at Long Nab and a Ringed Plover flew north there. An adult male Ruff in full breeding plumage was on the south east corner of the island at Wykeham Water Park (South Lake). Four Egyptian Geese band two Gadwall were also present and two Ringed Plover and two Little Ringed Plover were at East Lake. A Green Woodpecker was near the Raptor Viewpoint at Wykeham. A drake Garganey was found at Seamer Tip Pool at lunchtime and was still present early evening. A Brambling at a feeder at Hutton Buscel.
