A Short-eared Owl flew high and north past Long Nab early this morning and a cream crowned Marsh Harrier also went north a short time later before turning and leaving high to the south. A late Fieldfare was at Castlebeck Farm near Harwood Dale and a Sedge Warbler was singing at Jackson's Bay where the six Bar-tailed Godwits remained. Two Grey Partridge and a pair of Lapwing were at East Knapton and a Yellow Wagtail was at Long Lane, Crossgates. A Raven flew north at Ravenscar and a Northern Wheatear was near the mast. A drake Velvet Scoter flew north past Hundale Point and a Sedge Warbler was singing at Crook Ness.
