A singing Wood Warbler was in Langdale Forest this morning and a Red Kite flew north over Playdale Farm. At Scampston Park, 15 Grey Herons were around the heronry including four fledged juveniles along with seven drake Gadwall, 17 Stock Doves and a pair of Mute Swans with three cygnets. Two Common Terns were at Wykeham Water Park Lake and a Hobby was above Snainton on the road to Cockmoor Hall. A pair of Mute Swans and six cygnets were at Wykeham East Lake.
