The Whimbrel continued its’
extended stay in the Long Nab area where there was also a Jack Snipe, a Lapland Bunting, a Snow Bunting flew northeast (out to sea) and 48 Siskins arrived in
off the sea. Also moving today were 17 Eider (N), 19 Lapwing (S), a juvenile
Arctic Skua (N) and 1295 Woodpigeon (S).
The only other news today
came from the Open Air Theatre where a Woodcock, a Water Rail, a Kingfisher, a
Grey Wagtail and 3 Chiffchaffs were recorded and from North Bay where 63
Pink-footed Geese flew north at midday.
