Monday 8th July

This morning's seawatch at Long Nab saw an increase in Common Scoters moving north towards their moult staging areas in Scotland, a total of 525. Also of interest a Blue Fulmar and continued Curlew movement. Three Peregrines over Cayton Village. Two Turtle Doves near the Mill Inn at Harwood Dale. A Red Kite flew south-west over Crossgates early afternoon. 30+ Swifts at Hutton Buscel was the largest gathering seen there this summer.
