Early this morning a Cuckoo was seen at Long Nab, just inland from the entrance to Fields Farm. There was no further sign this morning of yesterday's Red-footed Falcon in the Ayton/Seamer area, but a small falcon was seen distantly over Wykeham Lakes twice in the afternoon. A Peregrine was spotted over The Flask Inn, and a Turtle Dove and Sparrowhawk were near The Mill Inn. An adult Mediterranean Gull flew west over Garth End Road towards the fishing lakes. News late in of a Glossy Ibis photographed flying south over Seamer Tip Pool at 2 pm.
