4 Tundra Bean Geese flew NW over the Hertford and Seamer Mead this morning. 5 Little Egrets were along the Hertford east of Folkton sewage works, while 2 Little Grebes, 40+ Teal, a Peregrine, a Curlew, a Kingfisher and 3 Water Rails were along the Hertford to the west of the sewage works, down to Stockdales. 42 Pink-footed Geese were on Cayton Carrs, 40 flew over Hutton Buscel, and 30 flew NW shortly after the Bean Geese. A Water Rail was at New Dike while 2 Woodcock and a Snipe were by the tip. The Great Northern Diver and a Red-throated Diver were again in the harbour. At Thornton Dale 2 Green Sandpipers were seen near Charity Farm, and a Chiffchaff and a Little Egret were near the sewage works/beck.
