Another clear day and a further 1,445 Pink-footed Geese flew north past Long Nab. A Great Northern Diver also flew north. Another two skeins of Pinkfeet totalling c140 flew north over Langdale Forest. Skeins were heard over town at 01.30, 04.35 and 05.00. 2 Great Northern Divers still in the harbour. Goshawks continue to show well over the forests at the moment. 2 Shelduck still at Johnson's Marsh. At Wykeham Lakes; Pink-footed Goose, 7 Goldeneye, 26 Cormorants. 12 Curlew at Crook Ness. A Merlin flew south over Crossgates. Waders at the Gristhorpe Bay high tide roost; 104 Oystercatchers, 93 Curlew, 85 Redshank, 22 Purple Sandpipers, 9 Turnstone, Ringed Plover.
