Sunday 13th January
3 Eider and 105 Gannets flew south past Long Nab this morning, a Shelduck flew north, and 21+ Red-throated Divers were present offshore. A Great Northern Diver, 37 Purple Sandpipers and 40 Turnstones were at the harbour, and 2 Shelduck were seen at Johnson's Marsh. 4 Whooper Swans were spotted in a field to the west of Yedingham village, feeding with 2 Mute Swans, while to the north of the village were 150 Pink-footed Geese.
