Sunday 30th January
A Goshawk flew over Morrisons at Seamer and was later seen at Burton Riggs. A Water Rail, 2 Kingfishers at the Open Air Theatre. A Common Buzzard flew south over Whin Bank, Scarborough. Jay in a Burniston garden. Counts from Gristhorpe Bay; 3 Ringed Plover, 4 Grey Plover, 8 Turnstone, 22 Purple Sandpipers, 42 Oystercatchers, 72 Redshank, 196 Curlew. Also a Short-eared Owl and two pais of Stonechats. 10 Pinkfeet and 35 Wigeon flew over there.
