A juvenile Glaucous Gull flew north past Long Nab, where other birds on the move included 3 Teal, 2 Eiders north and an adult Mediterranean Gull south. With the return of Scalby Lodge pond increasing numbers of birds are being seen there. Today this included 32 Wigeon, 2 Shelduck, 10 Oysercatchers. 3 Little Egrets and a Chiffchaff at Seamer sewage works. A flock of 60 Linnets, 4 Song Thrushes along the cinder track between Burniston and Station Lane, Cloughton. 6 Pink-footed Geese below Seamer tip plus 4 at Folkton Carr. 300 Fieldfare at Star Carr.
