Five southbound Whooper Swans were tracked along the coast mid-afternoon from Ravenscar to South Bay. Heavy rain to the south had Pink-footed Geese flying north this afternoon; 420 over town, then Long Nab. Another skein of 400 north over North Yorkshire Water Park around the same time. 100+ Lapwing south there also. A Merlin flew north at Long Nab late afternoon, plus a Sandwich Tern south. Two Chiffchaffs new in there.
