Highlights today included 2 Lapland Buntings at Long Nab. The Yellow-browed Warbler was still there, and a Great Northern Diver flew north, 15 Whooper Swans south. The high tide wader roost at Cromer Point/Burniston Bay held 13 Grey Plover, 29 Ringed Plover, 7 Dunlin. Three Sandwich Terns, 40 Wigeon at Scalby Mills. A Common Swift feeding over East Ayton late afternoon. 70 Pink-footed Geese in fields at Gristhorpe. Seven Marsh Harriers at Potter Brompton Carr, also Great White Egret, 4 Little Egrets, 80 Wigeon, 70 Goldfinches.
