Wednesday 25th October

 Good numbers of thrushes etc were arriving from the east today.....minimum counts at Long Nab were 2 Waxwings, 1500 Redwing, 600 Fieldfare, 400 Blackbirds, Ring Ouzel, 20 Brambling, Common Redpoll. In the Cromer Point area were 35 Blackbirds, 12 Redwing, 6 Fieldfare, 12 Goldcrests, and 5 Common Redpoll. Castle Hill had 35 Goldcrests, Chiffchaff, Siberian Chiffchaff, and a Brambling. Two Common Redpolls were at South Cliff. At Potter Brompton Carr; Pink-footed Goose, 75 Wigeon, 3 Pintail, 2 Goldeneye, Great White Egret, 3 Little Egrets, 4 Marsh Harriers, a Swallow (flew NW), 190 Fieldfare, 120 Starling, and a Cetti's Warbler. A Woodcock flew in off the sea at Marine Drive. Two Goosanders at Peasholm Park Lake.
