Monday 31st May
A Nightjar was heard churring for 20 seconds this morning in Wykeham Forest, while another was calling in Dalby Forest, where a Turtle Dove and a Goshawk were seen. A Fulmar flew east over Crossgates, and 2 Grey Partridges were seen north of Seamer. A Cuckoo was in Langdale Forest, and another was heard from the direction of Jugger Howe Moor, while 2 pairs of Spotted Flycatchers were seen in Scar and Castlebeck Woods. An immature White-tailed Eagle was spotted over Hackness.
