A third winter Glaucous Gull flew south very close past Long Nab at 0822hrs following the cliffs and continuing past Jackson's Bay. A Mediterranean Gull was in Robin Hood's Bay at Stoupe Beck and a male Blackcap again visited a garden in Heron Lane, Crossgates. Two Water Rail were along The Dell this morning and at Seamer Road Mere there were 42 Mute Swans, the resident Whooper Swan, three Goosander, three Gadwall, 52 Coot, one Pink-footed Goose, one Shoveler, six Little Grebe, a Water Rail and two Mediterranean Gulls. In the Seamer Tip area, there were two Little Egret, seven Pink-footed Geese, one Peregrine Falcon, one Kestrel, one Water Rail, 350 Lapwing, four Golden Plover, four Common Snipe, five Woodcock, 45 Redwing, 30 Song Thrush, two Chiffchaff, 15 Tree Sparrow, 15 Linnet, 45 Yellowhammer and 10 Reed Bunting.
