Sunday 29th January

 The CETTI'S WARBLER was still near the climbing wall at the North Yorkshire Water Park, singing and showing well once. A Water Rail was calling along Long Causeway Road and a Willow Tit was along the track to Causeway Lake on the complex and an Egyptian Goose was on the main island on the Water Sports Lake. 19 Goldeneye were present across the complex, a Green Sandpiper was on East Lake and 52 Pink-footed Geese flew south. A Dark-bellied Brent Goose was at Seamer Tip Pool and a male Blackcap again visited a Heron Lane, Crossgates garden. Four Northern Goshawk, five Common Buzzard and six Redwing were at Troutsdale and a Red Kite flew west over Burniston this morning. 290 Greylag Geese, 5 Shoveler, 40 Teal, 39 Gadwall and 490 Redwing were at Scampston lake. 260 Golden Plover and 180 Lapwing were along North Moor Road and one plus Northern Goshawk and five Common Crossbills were at Wykeham Raptor Viewpoint. A Water Rail was calling again at the Open Air Theatre. The resident Whooper Swan was at Seamer Road Mere.
