Tuesday 24th January

 A CETTI'S WARBLER found this morning near to the climbing wall by the predator lake at North Yorkshire Water Park was only the second record for the recording area. It was singing infrequently and showing occasionally until approximately 1100hrs. 12 Teal were at Johnson's Marsh and at Seamer Road Mere, the resident Whooper Swan was seen along with a female Shoveler, Goosander, Kingfisher and a Grey Heron. A Little Egret was at Hackness and a single Sanderling was on the beach at Cayton Bay. Two Dippers, two Common Crossbill, five Common Buzzard, three Mistle Thrush, a Fieldfare and a Great Spotted Woodpecker were seen at Troutsdale. 18 Redwing and a single Fieldfare were at Saltpans Road, Cloughton and a Kestrel was at the pond near Hayburn Wyke.
