A Green Woodpecker was calling from the vicinity of the Crematorium this morning and a Little Egret was at Brompton. A female Reed Bunting and two Siskin visited a Heron Lane, Crossgates garden feeder and the first Barn Swallow of spring flew north past Long Nab. The Cetti's Warbler was calling again early afternoon by the climbing tower at Predator Lake on the North Yorkshire Water Park complex and two Brent Geese sp. were at the southern end of Jackson's Bay. A Northern Wheatear was at Hundale and three Sand Martins and a White Wagtail flew south there. A Shelduck, three Shoveler and singles of Redshank and Dunlin were at Potter Brompton Carr.
