A female/immature Velvet Scoter was off Yons Nab this morning, also 4 Puffins, 7 Grey Partridge there. A Knot in Cayton Bay. A drake Shoveler with the Wigeon at Scalby Mills. A female Shoveler with the Teal at Johnson's Marsh. The Lapland Bunting and 7 Snow Buntings were still in stubble at Long Nab. Highlights past there included 6 Shelducks, a Pochard, 2 Shoveler, and an Arctic Tern. A Puffin was feeding offshore. Two Snow Buntings were showing well by the Sealife Centre at Scalby Mills early afternoon. At Potter Brompton Carr; pintail, Merlin, 2 Marsh Harriers, a Great White Egret, and a Twite flew over NW.
