A Black-throated Diver was on the Water Sports Lake, North Yorkshire Water Park briefly before heading off west as a result of possible boat disturbance. Also present were a Greater Scaup, Goosander, 34 Gadwall, 10 Goldeneye, six Wigeon, 12 Mute Swan, a Jack Snipe on the peninsular and two Stonechat. The Red-necked Grebe at East Lake along with a Common Snipe. Five Little Auk, two Red-breasted Merganser and a Teal flew north off Marine Drive this afternoon. A Kingfisher was in Peasholm Glen and 26 Snow Buntings again in the stubble field at Long Nab. Good numbers of Meadow Pipit, Skylark and Yellowhammer in the Cloughton and Long Nab areas during the morning blizzards.
