In the Long Nab area there were 2 Yellow-browed Warbler (1 new), 1 Chiffchaff, 70 Goldcrest, 9 Long-tailed Tit, 20 Redwing, 8 Song Thrush, 18 Blackbird, 20 Skylark, 3 Brambling, 20 Goldfinch, 45 Siskin, 7 Reed Bunting and 1 Snipe. A Sooty Shearwater was noted heading north offshore.
There was a good count of Mediterranean Gull on Black Rocks off Holbeck, 13 adults and 1 2nd winter, so with a 1st winter seen at Holbeck yesterday at least 15 are in the area!
