Scarborough's first ever LITTLE BUNTING was discovered behind the Marine Drive Wall during the morning, the bird was present in the 'booted' plantation, having presumably just arrived, before moving up the cliffs and disappearing on to Castle tops . Despite searching it wasn't re-found.
Also on Castle Hill were 26 Song Thrush, 12 Blackbird, 1 Redstart, 3 Blackcap, 4 Yellow-browed Warbler (2 new), 11 Chiffchaff, 14 Goldcrest and 5 Brambling.
On the move (south unless stated) were 38 Teal, 9 Wigeon, 1 Velvet Scoter, 1 Common Scoter (north), 1 Dunlin and 1 Greenshank.
