Another very quiet day in the Scarborough area.
A Bonxie was seen flying north at Long Nab in the morning, 7 Red-throated Divers feeding below the obs and 2 Stonechats there as well.
2 Pochard, 2 Goldeneye, 42 Coot, 4 Great-crested Grebes and 5 Mute Swans at Wykeham South Lake.
At Johnson's Marsh 42 Wigeon, 28 Teal and 17 Moorhens and in Cornelian Bay 3 Grey Plovers, 10 Ringed Plovers, 6 Curlew and 20ish Oystercatchers and Redshanks.
No news either way from the Harbour today and negative news on the 2 Great Grey Shrikes in Langdale Forest but the weather was less than conducive, however there were two Stonechats at Woof Howe Rigg, Crossbills at most stops and a Woodcock on the drive out.
Finally there was a Grey Heron on the ornamental pond on Valley Road.
