The
Black Redstart was still present today on the sea defences opposite the Albert Café
in North Bay and in South Bay there was a Great Northern Diver and a
Black-necked Grebe.
At
Wykeham South Lake today the wildfowl count included 22 Gadwall, 3 Goldeneye
(drakes), 3 Pochard and 4 Great-crested Grebes.
Finally
what was probably the bird of the day was discovered in Cayton Bay by Chris
Bull, a fine female Velvet Scoter with 8 Common Scoter.
