Most
of the news today concerned species that were still present in the area. The
Red-throated Diver at Peasholm Park Lake, the Great Northern Diver and 2
Black-necked Grebes in the harbour and the Velvet Scoter in Cayton Bay with 9
Common Scoter and a Red-throated Diver.
Elsewhere
at Seamer Tip pool there were 6 White-fronted Geese, a Pink-footed Goose and a
Barnacle Goose with the Goose flock and a Shelduck flew over, a Chiffchaff was
at Burton Riggs and 3 adult Mediterranean Gulls were around the Holbeck car
park this morning.
