Not
much reported today but a couple of nice birds were seen in the vicinity of
Hairy Bob’s Skate Park. Firstly a Black Redstart was seen on the rocks opposite
by Rob Stark and then later a female Long-tailed Duck was on the sea there,
discovered by Terry Hobson.
In
the Harbour area the Black-necked Grebe was
in the outer harbour, the Great Northern
Diver was seen in the harbour mouth and
34 Purple Sandpipers were roosting on the East Pier.
