The
highlight today was the discovery by Mick Francis of a drake Long-tailed Duck
at Burton Riggs early this morning. Another surprise today was a Puffin seen in
North Bay by Steve Race where there were also 2 Red-throated Divers.
The
usual culprits were still in the harbour today.
On
the rocks below the skate park there was a Shag with a green darvic ring on the
right leg with the letters FCZ on it. If I find out the origin of this bird it
will be on this site at a later date.
At
Seamer tip in New Dike there were a Water Rail and a Little Egret
Finally
a bit of mammal news today, there was a Grey Seal on the rocks opposite the
skate park.
