The

Nab at 08.07 and at the same location 2 Sooty Shearwaters also flew north at

north off Long Nab prior to 10.20 incuded 37 Common Scoter (+ 3 south), 4
Goldeneye, 45 Red-throated Diver (+ 6 south) and Bonxie 3 (+ 2 south).
Today’s
count from Wykeham South Lake – 6 Goldeneye, 4 Gadwall, 4 Egyptian Geese, about
200 Fieldfares, 15 Redwing and 36 Yellowhammers.
After
a couple of days out of the news Waxwings were seen again with a group of 11 on
Wreyfield Drive at 11.15.
In
the harbour both the Black-necked Grebe and Great Northern Diver were still
present early but the Grebe swam out into the bay about 08.00, there was a
Chiffchaff at Scarborough Sixth Form College and 2 Water Rails at the Open Air
Theatre.
