Despite
being absent in the morning the Great
Northern Diver and Black-necked
Grebe returned to Scarborough Harbour this afternoon.
The
only report of Waxwings today was a
single bird seen on Wreyfield Drive at 09.30.

Long-tailed Ducks were seen flying
north past Scalby Mills at 11.40 and at the same location 6 Shags flew south
and on the rocks there was a Lesser Black-backed Gull and a Kingfisher.
Also
today the Shore Larks were reported
again with 9 being seen in the field to the south of Crook Ness.
