The juvenile Glaucous Gull reappeared at Scalby Mills briefly today, flying off towards North Cliff at 10.53.

Along Royal Albert Drive both the Stonechat and the Black Redstart were seen again.

The best location around Scarborough recently has been the South Bay/Harbour area and today was no exception; all the stars remained and most showed well. Off The Spa/Holbeck the 2 Long-tailed Ducks and 2 Velevt Scoters were with 6 Common Scoters and in the Harbour today 2 Black-necked Grebes and 2 Great Northern Divers also 2 Great-crested Grebes and 6 Red-throated Divers were also seen today in South Bay.

A Snow Bunting flew North over the hut at Long Nab at 08.24 and 2 Whooper Swans flew South at 12.56 also 973 large Gulls went South before 13.00. An estimated 4000 large Gulls went to roost in South Bay this evening, most of which were Herring Gulls.

3 Tundra Bean Geese were at Wykeham South Lake as well as 22 Gadwall, 3 Shoveler, 5 Pochard and 3 Goldeneye.

18 White-fronted Geese were still near Seamer Tip pool as were 2 Barnacle Geese and at Holbeck 6 Mediterranean Gulls including the 1st winter and 5 adults.
