The
only news today came from Crook Ness, Wykeham South Lake and Holbeck.
The
16 Shore Larks were seen again today
at Crook Ness according to the bird news services.
At
Wykeham South Lake the best bird was a 2nd calendar year ♀ Scaup supported by 32 Pochard, ♂
Goosander, 3 Goldeneye, 34 Tufted Duck, 2 Little Grebes, 6 Great-crested
Grebes, 61 Coot, 2 Common Buzzard and a Merlin.
Last
but not least the Mediterranean Gull count today was 9 including 6 adults, a 2nd
winter and 3 1st winter birds.
