Today
a large count of 13 Mediterranean Gulls at Holbeck including 6 adults,
2x2ndWinter and 5x1stWinter and three of the adults were the ringed birds
previously mentioned in this blog.
On
The Mere the 7 Goosanders were still present and there was a single drake
Goldeneye early on and 3 Pink-footed Geese later.
At
Wykeham South Lake some of the species present today included 6 Great-crested
Grebes, 23 Pochard, 7 Gadwall and 34 Tufted Duck.
Finally
a Great Northern Diver was just
outside the Harbour and c8 Common Scoter in South Bay.
