53 Waxwings were on Rocks Lane, Burniston this morning, near the Three Jolly Sailors pub, and were still there round midday though very flighty. A single Waxwing was also spotted flying south-west over Woodall Avenue. The Scaup remained at Burton Riggs along with 2 Wigeon, and at Harwood Dale Lake there were 6 Teal, 26 Wigeon, 2 Goosanders, 120 Fieldfare and 30 Redwings. A Slavonian Grebe was seen just outside the harbour this afternoon, and a single Whooper Swan was at Seamer Road Mere.
