At about 2 o'clock this morning Pink-footed Geese were heard calling over Castle Headland. About 45
Waxwings were seen this morning near the entrance to, and in the grounds of, the hospital; 22 more were seen near the Oak Wheel pub in Burniston. A Chiffchaff was in gardens at The Dene, Peasholm, and Redwings were still present around the Seamer Tip area. At Low Marishes 6 Whooper Swans were with 4 Mute Swans. 3 Marsh Tits, a Willow Tit, about 25 Crossbills and 20+ Siskins were seen between Dalby Centre and Pexton Lake this afternoon.
