A Red-throated Diver and a Shag were in the harbour this morning. A Green Sandpiper, 6 Snipe, 110 Linnets and 12 Yellowhammers were at Thornton Carrs, where 600 Pink-footed Geese were seen taking off in the distance at Low Marishes. A
Peregrine and 4 Crossbills were seen at Standing Stones, Cloughton. In the late afternoon 5 Whooper Swans, 60 Pink-footed Geese in flight, and 200+ Fieldfares were seen at Low Marishes, and a similar number of Fieldfares were also seen at Malton Cote, Ebberston.
