Saturday 3rd September

 A Pintail, three Knot and a Common Swift flew south at Long Nab this morning and a Whinchat was at the scrape. Two further Whinchat were along South Cliff this morning and two Dippers, one Kingfisher and two Grey Herons were at Scalby sea cut this morning. Singles of Little Egret, Whimbrel, Ringed Plover and Sanderling were with six Dunlin at Jackson's Bay. A Maximum of eight Turtle Doves were at Burniston again today near to the Village Hall and six Common Swifts flew south over Burniston amongst a steady stream of Swallows attracting the attention of a Sparrowhawk. Six Wigeon, 65 Lapwings, two Sand Martins, one Common Sandpiper and one Dunlin were at Wykeham East Lake this afternoon and two Northern Wheatears were at Mount Pleasant Farm, Redcliffe this evening.
