Five Red-throated Divers were on the sea off Marine Drive, nine flew north along with two Arctic Skuas also past there. Five Common Scoter and five Sooty Shearwaters were also reported off Marine Drive this morning. An adult Mediterranean Gull flew over Crossgates at 1015hrs. Highlights past Long Nab Obs between 0630hrs and 1230hrs were five Pale-bellied Brent Geese, one Red-breasted Merganser, 27 Shags, seven Purple Sandpipers, one Little Gull, one Pomarine Skua, two Long-tailed Skuas, 16 Arctic Skuas (2S) and 4,100 Razorbills all north.
